A one-time BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) hackathon organized at MIT — the first and so far only edition of its kind.
The BCI Initiative began as a hackathon organized at MIT — the first event of its kind under the XHMF umbrella, and so far the only one.
Founded by Dr. Federico Claudi, the hackathon brought together engineers, neuroscientists, and machine-learning researchers to explore what brain-computer interfaces could do — from restoring communication for patients with severe motor impairment to enabling new forms of human-computer interaction.
While the initiative currently functions independently, it remains a milestone in XHMF's early exploration of neural interface technology.
