In partnership with Dr. Bardhë Agaj, former president of KOMS, we organized Kosovo's first Neuroscience Next Hub, sponsored by the AAIC. We had several invited speakers: Prof. Visar Berisha, Prof. Venet Osmani, Prof. Fekrije Selimi and Dr. Taulant Muka. Additionally, we had an invited plenary speaker, Dr. Jonathan Rosand who also gave a workshop on his BrainCare Score.
In collaboration with our friends from the Data Science Initiative ALSA network, we organized a one-day conference hosting experts in Data Science, while giving those interested in pursuing a career in Data Science the opportunity to explore and inquire about how to do so successfully.
Organizing Neuroscience for Kosova, we built on the emerging success of online conferences while simultaneously using these venues to educate and mobilize support for critical communities.
The event had a $10 registration fee. ALL proceeds from the registration and additional open donations were used to support Kosovo's COVID-19 relief program and XhMF's BrainCamp Kosovo.
