Kosova's Organization of Medical Students (KOMS)
(impact year 2024)

KOMS is an organization of students and young professionals in the medical sciences, focused on health education and increasing student opportunities.


In 2024, XhMF pledged its support to 14 KOMS medical students, enabling their participation in the internationally recognized Standing Committee on Professional Exchange (SCOPE) program, organized by IFMSA. This initiative provides medical students with the opportunity to experience healthcare in different cultures and systems, fostering a deeper understanding of global healthcare disparities.



The students sponsored were:
Edita Saljunovic, Erdi Rexha, Erblia Krasniqi, Qendrim Daci, Ereza Dervishi, Adelisa Dzogovic, Leotrim Berisha, Fatbardh Halitaj, Leonita Berisha, Rrezarta Berbati, Ambla Demi, Loti Shaqiri, Bardh Agaj, and Argjenda Baliqi.



ATOMI Institute
(since 2021)

The ATOMI institute for Extraordinary Intelligence aims to identify and support gifted students (IQ above 140) in Kosovo by providing special, tailored opportunities, treatments and education in accordance with their intellectual potential, as well as their personal traits and characteristics.


In 2021, XhMF committed to supporting ATOMI on a yearly basis, facilitating the continuation of their incredible work. 


ATOMI has identified over 286 students, in over 18 provinces, from 3 ethnicities.

AMC Health

(impact year 2019)


AMC aims to save lives and improve the health of infants, mothers and children in the Republic of Kosovo. To achieve their mission, they implement various projects and programs that have a great and lasting impact on the health system and provide long-term solutions.


XhMF supported AMC in developing an educational application to educate physicians and the general public based on scientific research, about breast feeding.
